The Crow’s Eye Creative Challenge: Show the World Your Vision of Onslow County
Are you ready to put your creative skills to the test? TENCROW Studios, in collaboration with Visit Jacksonville NC and the Onslow County Tourism departments, is proud to announce The Crow’s Eye Creative Challenge—an opportunity for filmmakers, content creators, and visual storytellers to showcase their talent while highlighting the beauty and creative potential of Onslow County.
Why This Contest Matters
As creatives, we often find ourselves searching for the perfect backdrop, a setting that tells a story all on its own. But too often, talented individuals from our region take their skills elsewhere, believing that Onslow County lacks the infrastructure and opportunities to support a thriving creative industry. The Crow’s Eye Creative Challenge aims to change that narrative.
We believe that this region is filled with untapped creative energy, and we want to see how YOU capture it. This contest is about more than just winning a cash prize—it’s about shining a light on the incredible potential that exists right here at home.
The Challenge
We’re calling on filmmakers, content creators, and visionaries to produce a short video (60 seconds or less) that showcases Onslow County as a dynamic, creative space. Whether through cinematic storytelling, breathtaking visuals, or innovative concepts, we want you to show us why this area is the perfect place to film, photograph, create, live, work, and play.
The Prizes
Let’s talk about the perks—because we know that a little extra cash can go a long way in fueling your creative endeavors:
- 1st Place: $1,000
- 2nd Place: $700
- 3rd Place: $300
Winners will be announced at our Filmmaker Meetup on March 22, 2025, from 2-4 PM at TENCROW Studios, giving you the chance to network, connect, and celebrate with fellow creatives.
How to Enter
- Register for the Contest: To participate, you must register at https://tencrowstudios.com/home/contest/.
- Create Your Video: Your submission must be 60 seconds or less and optimized for social media.
- Keep It Clean: No profanity, including in music lyrics.
- Get Permission: If your video features identifiable people, you must submit a signed release form (available for download from our site).
- Use Licensed Music: You can use popular songs as long as they are approved for Instagram and Facebook.
- No Watermarks or Logos: Keep it focused on your creative vision.
- Submit by March 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
